Cut for one person.
Made-to-measure work: a garment drafted to your measurements, fitted while it is being made, and finished only once it sits right.
Made-to-measure takes longer than an alteration because it is built in stages. Measurements first, then a fitting while the garment is still adjustable, then finishing. How many fittings depends on the garment.
You can bring your own fabric. If you have a garment that already fits you well, bring that too — reproducing a good fit is often easier and more reliable than starting from measurements alone.

What we make
- Made-to-measure from fabric you supply
- A new version of a garment that already fits you
- Occasion and eveningwear
- Garments adapted from an existing pattern you like
Before you come
- Bring your fabric if you have it, or ask us what is needed before you buy
- Bring a garment that fits you well, if you have one
- Allow time for fittings — this is not a same-visit service
Work is quoted once we have seen the garment.
Also in the workroom
- AlterationsClothes you already own, made to fit properly. Length, waist, sleeves, shoulders and shape.
- RepairsDamage put right, so a garment you like stays in use instead of being replaced.
- Home serviceWe collect from your door, measure at home if the work needs it, and bring the finished garments back.
